Opened to commemorate the centennial of America’s entry into the First World War, this exhibit tells a compelling story of the men and women who went “Over There.” The story’s apex is the Second Battle of the Marne in which US forces helped stop an enemy advance that might have claimed Paris and victory. The exhibit uses dynamic media and immersive graphic treatments to enrich and bring humanity to the war’s staggering scope and toll. Howard + Revis teamed with Color-Ad, Inc. on this design-build and provided interpretive planning, architectural coordination, research and scriptwriting, asset research, media concepting, and 2D and 3D design.
Recognition: Award for Interior Exhibits from the National Association for Interpretation (NAI).
